Today Ethan & I went early to the park before it got too warm to enjoy the slide and the outdoors. He played on the slide, swing, and grass for only about 20 minutes before he insisted that we return home. I think this was due to the fact that he was anxiously waiting for the time when we would leave to see the Elephant Movie...or more formally called Horton Hears A Who. Ethan was very excited to go to the movies because he loves movies, loves the theatre, and loves Horton (he was able to see this movie with his daycare a few weeks ago). I was looking forward to the movie because it is a book I enjoy reading to my students during Dr. Seuss' birthday, and I wanted to see if the movie was just as cute. It was. Ethan enjoyed the entire movie. We only had to leave once for a bathroom break. He laughed throughout much of the movie, since he had seen it before. He also enjoyed his icee and popcorn that we bought at the concession stand before the movie because, per Ethan, you can't have a movie without popcorn...too funny. We had a wonderful Monday morning together.

It looks like you and Ethan are having a great time with you being off work. I love that you take him to see the ducks, I remember that our family would do that on Sunday afternoons. Hope to see you guys again soon.
Trent has wanted to see that movie since before it was released! I've wanted to take him, but it is just SO expensive for us to take our whole family to the theatre!!! I wonder how long it will take for it to come out on video???
We are thinking about going to Disneyland tonight. We will leave around 3:30 and stay until it closes at 8:00. Are you hoping to go sometime this week? During the day? The only day I can go is Friday, Wednesday is my gym day and Tuesday, Thursday is Preschool. Let me know if you want to plan a day to go together, that would be fun! When do you go back to work?
Your family is so cute! It's weird to think Jonathon has kids! I guess it's been long enough. I still feel like we should be in HS. ha ha. I know this is weird to post this, but I just heard of a Choir reunion. I wanted to let Jonathon know. It's May 17th, at the school, at 4 pm. If you have questions, e-mail me at:

I hope to see you there. I know it sounds cheesy to go, but I miss you all! Talk to you later. ~Louis
